Oddbird + Friends Artisan Aid LA Fire Relief

We are thrilled to announce the L.A. Family Relief Prize Drawing, a community-driven effort to support families impacted by the Eaton Fires. Here's how it works:

• Tickets: Start at a $5 donation and are available in discounted bundles. Each ticket purchased puts you in the running to win one of 8 incredible prize packs, each valued at approximately $4,000!
• Free Entry Option: In compliance with the California Attorney General's requirements, we have included a free ticket option. This ensures accessibility for those directly affected by the fires who may not have the means to donate but would still like to participate. Each person may enter once using this entry option. Timeline: The drawing will run from Jan 17, 2025 to Jan 28, 2025 with winners announced on Jan 30, 2025.

Where Your Donations Go
100% of the money raised will be donated directly to families who lost their homes in the Eaton Fires. Our focus will be on underfunded GoFundMe campaigns that have yet to reach a significant portion of their goals. We aim to assist between 20 and 50 victims, depending on the amount raised.

• A fully transparent spreadsheet detailing all funds raised and donations made will be available for public view once the competition has closed and the amount of families able to be assisted with the donations is made clear. This document will be available through a link on the raffle landing page and updated in real time,  ready for review before any donations are distributed.

A Community Effort
This initiative would not be possible without the overwhelming generosity of over 70 small businesses and artisans who have come together to support this cause. Their contributions (donations)  have made these incredible prize packs a reality, and we extend our deepest gratitude to them.

Together, we can offer unexpected relief and hope to families who need it most. Thank you for standing with us and for helping make a tangible difference in the lives of those affected.

Terms and Conditions for the L.A. Family Relief Prize Drawing

1. Eligibility

1.1. The L.A. Family Relief Prize Drawing ("Prize Drawing") is open to legal residents of The United States who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.
 1.2. Employees, representatives, or agents of OddBird Co. ("Sponsor"), as well as immediate family members and household members of such individuals, are not eligible to enter.

2. Entry Period

2.1. The Prize Drawing begins on January 17, 2025 and ends on January 28, 2025 at 11pm PST ("Entry Period").
 2.2. Entries submitted after the Entry Period will not be eligible.

3. How to Enter

3.1. Entries can be obtained in the following ways:

• Donation Entry: Tickets are available with a minimum donation of $5. Additional bundles can be purchased at discounted rates. Each ‘ticket’ represents one entry into the Prize Drawing. Please note ‘Tickets’ are virtual and not physical tickets and will be sent via email once the donation is made and checkout is complete.
• Free Entry: Participants may enter without donation by submitting a written request for a free ticket to [Email/Address] during the Entry Period. The request must include the entrant’s name, address, phone number, and email address. One free entry is allowed per person.

4. Prizes

4.1. There are eight (8) prize packs available to be won, each valued at approximately $4,000.
 4.2. Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other alternatives.
 4.3. Odds of winning increase by the number of eligible entries received.

5. Selection and Notification of Winners

5.1. Winners will be randomly selected from all eligible entries on Jan 29, 2025.
 5.2. Winners will be notified via email or phone within five (5) business days of the draw date.
 5.3. If a winner does not respond within seven (7) business days of notification, the prize will be forfeited, and an alternate winner may be selected.

6. Use of Donations

6.1. 100% of all proceeds from the Prize Drawing will be donated directly to families impacted by the ‘Eaton Fire’, focusing on underfunded GoFundMe campaigns that will be vetted, confirmed, and disclosed. Based on the amount of money that is raised from ticket sales, the number of families we can donate to will change so a list will be posted once the competition has closed.

 6.2. Donation and distribution records will be maintained in a transparent spreadsheet, available for public viewing at a link available once the competition has closed.  The link will be available by Feb 1st.

7. General Conditions

7.1. By entering, participants agree to these Terms and Conditions and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding.
 7.2. Sponsor reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Prize Drawing for any reason, including but not limited to acts of God, technical failures, or fraud.
 7.3. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, or incomplete entries, or for technical issues preventing entry submission.

7.4.  Oddbird Co. also reserves the right to cancel the competition if circumstances arise outside of its control.

8. Release of Liability

8.1. By participating, entrants release and hold harmless the Sponsor, its employees, and agents from any and all liability arising from participation in the Prize Drawing or acceptance of any prize.

9. Privacy

9.1. Personal information collected for the Prize Drawing will be used solely for the purpose of administering the Prize Drawing and will not be shared, sold, or used for marketing purposes without explicit consent.

10. Governing Law

10.1. The Prize Drawing is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
 10.2. Any disputes arising in connection with the Prize Drawing will be resolved in accordance with the laws!
